Consignment Terms & Conditions
Western Premier Horse Sales and its associates act as agents only on all sales and are not responsible for buyer/seller error or misunderstanding. All guarantees are strictly between the buyer and seller. Any defects or bad habits must be called when the horse is sold.
The commission will be Ten (10%) percent of the selling price. The catalog fee will be $100. The consignor will have the privilege to “no sale” their horse. If the horse is passed out, the cost to the consignor will be the catalog fee of $100 plus $100. Catalog fee is non-refundable. Never offered fee is $200. Consignors agree to not privately sell or withdraw the consigned horse from the sale unless sick with a vet release. All consignments must go through the sale. No alley trading is allowed.
Horses will be sold as “registered” only if the original papers and a signed transfer are furnished to the office before the sale. Horses will not be allowed to be previewed until they are fully registered.
Western Premier LLC offers a 48 hour soundness guarantee. This guarantee is that the horse’s feet will be sound as they hit the ground. That the horse can see out of both eyes, breathe properly and does not crib. The resolution of this guarantee is between Western Premier, the consignor, and the new owner of the horse. Veterinarians and x-rays will not be involved.
All horses must have a brand inspection written to Western Premier Horse Sales. We also require a current health inspection accompanied with a coggins test result. Failure to produce these documents may result in the horse being pulled from the sale.
